AMIC Competition 2022

Yesterday, the Australian Meat Industry Council held the Sausage King, Best Butchers Burger, and Smallgoods competition for Southwest and Western Sydney at TAFE Granville. Our own Amanda Montebello was among other industry professionals as part of the judging process. Entries were judged on appearance, as well as the all important taste-tests for flavour and texture. The state winners across all three categories will be announced later this year.

Each year, AMIC runs this competition to showcase the skills and creativity of local butchers and promote sausages, burgers, and smallgoods to consumers. Good luck to all participants, and thanks for inviting us to participate.
