Traineeships at Australian Meat Training Centre
We are an enterprise, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) at BE CAmpbell. This means we are accredited to deliver qualifications, issue Certificates of Completion and/or Statement of Attainments to our workers. A Traineeship at AMTC lasts one to two years and employees will be paid while they learn. All training and assessments are conducted one-on-one and on-site under the guidance of an industry expert. You’ll get hands on industry experience and a qualification.

What training is provided?
We are registered by ASQA to provide National qualifications from the Meat Industry Training Package, including:
- AMP20316 Certificate II Meat Processing Abattoirs
- AMP30116 Certificate III Meat Processing Boning Room
- AMP30616 Certificate III Meat Processing General
- AMP30516 Certificate III Meat Processing Slaughtering
- AMP40315 Certificate IV Meat Processing Leadership
Training for the above qualifications are subsidised by the NSW government.
Recognition, Career Path & Future Opportunities
When you complete your traineeship, you will receive a qualification that is recognised anywhere in Australia. If you want to explore other opportunities, your work experience and training could provide credits in and/or exemptions from:
- Further advanced training in your vocation after you have completed your traineeship
- A different traineeship
Who can be a Trainee?
Traineeships are open to anyone of working age at BE Campbell i.e. 14 years and 9 months to mature age. You don’t need a school certificate or any other qualification. Year 10,11 and 12 students, school leavers, people re-entering the workforce are all eligible.
Advice & Support
During your traineeship, you will receive a lot of advice and support from your employer,
co-workers and trainers.
Travel Concession Card
You are eligible to apply for a Transport Concession Entitlement Card if you are registered with Training Services NSW and in an active apprenticeship or new entrant traineesgip approved by them.

Go to ‘Application for a transport Concesssion Entitlement Card’ online form. Your Training Contract ID (TCID) will be required to complete the form.
