Traineeships at Australian Meat Training Centre

We are an enterprise, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) at BE CAmpbell. This means we are accredited to deliver qualifications, issue Certificates of Completion and/or Statement of Attainments to our workers. A Traineeship at AMTC lasts one to two years and employees will be paid while they learn. All training and assessments are conducted one-on-one and on-site under the guidance of an industry expert. You’ll get hands on industry experience and a qualification.

What training is provided?

We are registered by ASQA to provide National qualifications from the Meat Industry Training Package, including:

  • AMP20316 Certificate II Meat Processing Abattoirs
  • AMP30116 Certificate III Meat Processing Boning Room
  • AMP30622 Certificate III in Meat Processing (General)
  • AMP30516 Certificate III Meat Processing Slaughtering

Training for the above qualifications are subsidised by the NSW government. There are NO enrolment fees and you will be paid while you are completing the traineeship.

 

 

 

Recognition, Career Path & Future Opportunities

When you complete your traineeship, you will receive a qualification that is recognised anywhere in Australia. This qualification may provide opportunities for:

  • Career progression at BE Campbell
  • Training credits and/or exemptions for further advanced training in your vocation
  • Access to a different traineeship

 

Who can be a Trainee?

Traineeships are open to employees of BE Campbell.  Staff of all agges are eligible including:

  • 14 years and 9months to mature age
  • Year 10, 11 & 12 students
  • School leavers
  • People, re-entering the workforce

You do not need a school certificate, previous work experience in the industry or other qualification.

 

Advice & Support

During your traineeship there are staff from BE Campbell available for advice and support such as: your supervisor, trainers, staff from HR department, L&D Department and your co-workers.

 

 

Travel Concession Card

To be eligible for a Transport Concession Entitlement Card, as a trainee, you must be registered with Training Services NSW as a new entrant trainee and/or a continue to be an active new entrant traineeship approved by Training Services NSW.
